Cost optimization with rye
Rye is a winter crop, it is less susceptible to the influence of climatic conditions and compares favorably with other cereals with stable yields. In terms of energy concentration, the grain of winter rye approaches the grain of winter wheat and surpasses the grain of oats and winter barley. According to the level of raw protein, rye grain is slightly inferior to the grain of other grains (only 1-2%), but exceeds the level of lysine.
Rye is one of the main grain crops of Russia, it takes the third place in terms of gross grain harvest (after wheat and barley), and second in bread production. The soil and climatic conditions of the country are favorable for the cultivation of rye, as the most cold-resistant grain crops, not very demanding on soil fertility and ripening 1-2 weeks earlier than other grains.
Prices for rye grain on the domestic market are lower than for wheat.
The unclaimed resources of rye grain annually amount to 1.5-2.0 million tons.
Obtaining rye concentrate (in the form of feed) by traditional technologies is laborious and energy-consuming due to the high content of corned beef and water-soluble substances (12-17%), as well as the presence of a complex protein-carbohydrate complex.
Equipment for the production of liquid feed “VLADEKO” KU400 allows you to significantly reduce the cost of the process of obtaining rye concentrate and makes it possible to use rye up to 100% in feed without harm to animals.
